This can often make a mother feel bad because there child has to spend a lot of time in a daycare facility. The ideal situation for a family that has a baby, or even older children is when one parent, be it mother or father, can stay home to care for the baby while the other is at work. Today there are some fathers that stay home while the mother goes to work, but this is not that common yet. Even when parents work different shifts, this still creates a hardship because of the lack of quality family time that can be spent together.
